POLYSTYRENE REDUCTION MACHINE FOR USE WITH STYRO SOLVE

The Solution Machine softens and dissolves the expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam. Compacting foam is not practical because it is filled with tiny air bubbles which cause it to return to its original size. Instead, the foam is dissolved with a patented product called Styro Solve.

The Styro Solve softens and dissolves the expanded polystyrene. Air trapped in the foam is released leaving a dense space saving material called Polygel. The polystyrene in polygel is chemically unchanged. After treatment, the recovered polystyrene can be recycled again and again.

The Solution Machine shreds the foam first and then automatically sprays Styro Solve on the shredded foam pieces.

The SOLUTION MACHINE accepts all polystyrene, which is identified by this symbol: The Solution Machine is not designed to accept other materials.

The Solution Machine MODEL SM 3300 is designed to process large quantities of material. The optional SM3400 Debulker handles large pieces of Polystyrene. The machine can be fed manually or with a conveyor. Model SM3500 as shown is just one of many custom configurations available combining both the SM3300 and the SM3400.
